September in Malibu CA is a fabulous time of year. The kids may be back in school but there is still plenty to do for all ages. This is a great month to get out and try something new as well as a great month be active. Whether you want to hone your dance skills, spend time with your toddler, or get into some beachside yoga you will find plenty of ways to stretch your body and your mind in the Malibu community this month.

A sampling of events in Malibu this month:

Monday, September 3rd,  9 – 10 am, Yoga at the Annenberg Community Beach House. In addition you will find a variety of yoga classes going on throughout the week here. Click here for more information.

Monday, September 3rd, 7:15 – 8:15 pm, Community Dance Lessons at the Michael Landon Center in Malibu Bluffs Park. The City of Malibu hosts community dance lessons with MC Callaghan on Mondays. Here you can learn swing, ballroom, foxtrot, rumba, tango, and more. The cost is $20 per class and all ages are welcome.

Tuesday, September 4th, 9:30 – 10:30 am, Parent-And-Me Class at Gan Malibu Preschool. This is. an opportunity for families to bond through music and discussion. Appropriate for children aged 3 months – 2.5 years old. Call 310-456-6573 for more information.

Tuesday, September 4th, 4 – 5:30 pm, Beach Volleyball at the Annenberg Community Beach House for youths ages 7-15. These volleyball games are available each Tuesday and Thursday.

Sunday, September 9th, 9 am, Yoga on the Beach with Sri Hari at Point Dume Beach Malibu.

Tuesday, September 11th, 5:30 – 7:30 pm, Malibu Chamber of Commerce Sunset Mixer. Show up and mix and mingle with local business professionals with our host Dr. Sarah Murphy of Zuma Wellness. And if you’d like, bring a raffle item that showcases your business.

Sunday, September 23rd, 11:30 am – 1:30 pm, Tiny Tot Olympics at Bluffs Park for kids Olympics inspired activities. Olympic Games include, gymnastics, t-ball, martial arts, and more. There will also be bounce houses on site. Click here for more information or call 310-317-1364.
