Malibu Events & Activities For August
Malibu events & activities for August are many and varied. From yoga to dance, car shows to computer class, and everything in between, there is something for everyone. The Malibu community always has something going on. Get out this month and try something new!
A sampling of events and activities:
Mondays all month long, Dance lessons at the Michael Landon Center. The City of Malibu hosts community dance lessons with MC Callaghan every Monday. Learn swing, ballroom, foxtrot, Latin rumba, tango, and more. $20 per class. All ages are welcome. The Michael Landon Center is in Malibu Bluffs Park. RSVP preferred, 760-238-1498.
Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays, all month long from 9 to 10 am. Yoga at the Annenberg Community Beach House. Drop-in or register for a spot in the new series. The Annenberg Community Beach House is located at 415 Pacific Coast Highway.
Friday, August 6, computer workshop at Malibu City Hall. The first Friday of every month the Malibu Senior Center hosts a 30-minute computer workshop to answer technology questions at Malibu City Hall, located at 23825 Stuart Ranch Road. The cost is $2. Sunday, August 8 and 22, Motor Show at Malibu Bluffs Park. The City of Malibu hosts a free exclusive motor show every second and fourth Sunday. Free admission. All ages welcome.
There is always something to do in Malibu, whether going for a hike in the canyon or a walk on the beach. There is so much to do outside of organized classes. However, going to an organized group or class is a great way to meet members of the Malibu Community. Get to know the people and the area by trying something new.
